Proxy Extension for Chedot Browser

My client required a Chrome extension called 'Proxy' for their Chromium-based browser, Chedot. This extension enables users to access blocked sites that are banned in their country.

My responsibilities included:

  • Advising the client on selecting the appropriate technology stack;
  • Developing the entire Chrome extension;
  • Writing the frontend UI code.

For this project, I used the following technology stack:

  • Preact.js library for the frontend;
  • MobX for state management in Preact.js;
  • Gulp for creating build tasks.

The initial production release was completed in a month, and the following two months were spent refining the product and releasing subsequent iterations.
